Most of us now, both at the home or workplace, simply put our waste material or what we think is waste material in a bin and wave it goodbye once the truck comes for collection. An overwhelming majority of that waste material is simply taken to a large transfer station and then eventually sent out to a traditional landfill. At landfill, over time this waste creates emissions, odour and dust that will further add to our worsening Global Environmental Footprint.
We at BENEDICT Recycling have chosen to construct a “State of the Art Resource Recovery Facility” to encourage recycling of all waste streams. As you will see in the presentation and also the displays we have in our on-site Education Centre, BENEDICT Recycling will hopefully convince you that we all must change the way that industry and household treat their waste material. During your visit to BENEDICT Recycling you will come to realise that most of the material that is currently going to landfill can be recycled and processed and then returned back to the market for further use as a quality product, saving the need for further dependence on our valuable natural resources.
